Special Event - Charity WOD to Benefit LAWS

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. In honor of the observance, we are hosting a WOD to benefit the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS).

Last year, our charity WOD for Puerto Rico recovery efforts had over 50 participants and raised $3,000. Let’s beat these numbers in our support of this local charity. All are welcome! Bring friends and family. We have fantastic sponsors, and there will be a raffle as well as a silent auction.

100% of the proceeds will go to LAWS. Register for the event here: http://bit.ly/1Thing4LAWS

LAWS was founded by 3 women in 1984 with $3,000 in donations. Besides providing emergency shelter services, LAWS also delivers assistance to victims at the Community Center where they provide counseling, legal services, support groups, parenting classes, advocacy and community outreach. On average, LAWS provides direct services to over $1,000 adult and child victims of domestic violence and sexual violence each year.
